My Story

But the road to get here wasn’t always easy…

How It Started

I started my first business in 2014 with no real conception of how to make it work or optimize it, but that first leap started the journey toward slowly realizing my life’s passion. I spent the earlier part of my life struggling with a lack of direction and self-doubt, the all-too-familiar imposter syndrome; I didn’t give myself the chance I deserved. I needed to find a structure and process that worked for me, something that would help me set small attainable goals, driving me toward a larger objective.

My early twenties saw me partying and hanging with friends, like so many of us, and bouncing from job to job. I drank too much, stayed out too late, and ate a lot. And as a result of that, I got really heavy, unhealthy, and depressed, and I knew something had to change.

How It’s Going

It took me years, but I slowly discovered that my greatest joy in life comes from the process. Once I discovered that, the chaos and indecision around me started to reside slowly. Day after day, tiny win after tiny win, I could see measurable progress toward a better future for my family and me.

I learned how to weaponize that misdirection and build measurable paths to success. A process I began to love and have been able to replicate over and over. It comes down to taking pleasure in the process and not the goal. You break things down into proximal goals, all intending to reach that larger distal goal.

Each proximal goal is like a single stone in the foundation of your pyramid, and the completed structure is your distal goal. You start stacking blocks, amassing wins, and gaining momentum, and before you know it, you’re on top of a pyramid of your own achievements.

I decided to keep a promise to myself to set an example for the brothers and sisters I love. I returned to school later in life to finish the education I had started many years before. And I found a totally renewed passion for business and learning. Exposing me to AI Technology, business strategy, and process optimization at a granular level.

Today, I hold a BSBA degree with honors and distinction from CSUMB in Management & International Business; I’m a regular contributor across multiple websites, I help dozens of clients with their marketing & process goals, and I am constantly pushing the boundaries on what AI Technology and prompt engineering can bring to our businesses.
